>> good evening everybody. our big story is the case of a shocked and concerned women across the area. a former johns hopkins ginecolings accused of photographing women during their exam. >> yesterday several attorneys filed lawsuits that claimed johns hopkins could have done more to monitor. today the cochran firm hosted a meeting for former parktes. earlier this week the doctor committed suicide. investigators say they've herd from hundreds of patients and potential victims. tonight we talk to an attorney who specializes in medical maling practice. this is a case where there will likely be litigation. he added a case of this nature with so many potential victims over so many years is rare.

>> there are a large number of claimants in these cases. so out of necessity the claimants are going to be going to different law firms. >> now as we've already mentioned, several firms have already filed suit against johns hopkins. he is talking to clients but his firm is waiting until the investigation is complete before determining if they will become involved. >> thank you. late breaking news at this hour involving the arrest of a baltimore county politician driving under the influence. councilman todd huff was pulled over around 3:00 this morning when officers saw him driving without his head lights. he was in his county owned jeep at the time. he was sited with d.u.i. and released. >> now a story brought to you yesterday, the medical examiner

has confirmed the two bodies found inside a burning car are homicide victims. neighbors reported hearing an explosion. on the scene crews found a burning car with two bodies inside. police deemed the death suspicious and now they say each victim suffered at least one gunshot wound. one is a man, the other is a woman. >> we also have an update to the fallout stemming from that shooth of a police trainee. the new director of the training academy. just days later he decided to leave the department. according to police lieutenant ross will assume that role. >> my goal is first off safety is top priority. and my goal is to make sure that the academy is the safest environment for our officers and really bringing into the

national forefront to be an elithleet and premier academy. >> major smith is taking another job. two of the six officers suspended after that accidental shooting have been reinstated. >> city police are also investigating an alleged armed robbery that ended in the shooting of a teenager. the 16-year-old boy was walking just before 9:30 last night when he noticed a suspicious vehicle. two suspects ran up blind him, one held him at gunpoint and took his cash. when the teen tried to trun suspect shot him in the area and fled the area. police are now searching for the suspects. >> a little on the business mall side today, drizzle and light rain. most of the rain was to the south of us today.

gaited mansion. he has to vender his pass ports, can't use drugs or alcohol. has to vunder his guns and has to check in with police twice a week starting monday. he might start training monday. his coach thinks training is the best thing for him right now to clear his mind. although when asked is training the last thing on his mind since losing his girlfriend the coach didn't comment. he sobbed when the judge read the ruling yesterday. he has problems with oscar pistorius's account of what happened this morning when reeva steenkamp was killed. why he ran into the danger that so terrified him. why he didn't ask who was in that bathroom before he fired shots and why he didn't search for his girlfriend when he realized she was not in the bed. the judge says he is not a

danger and likely won't run from justice. this morning reeva steenkamp's father gave an interview saying the only people who know what happened are oscar pistorius and god. and no matter how good his legal team is, he will have to live with his conscious. if he tells the truth, he may one day be able to forgive him. >> here at home, a rainy day today. >> we'll flip it 80 degrees tomorrow and that will last for a day or two before the next one. that is coming up in just a minute. stick around.

dangerous and the best place to watch it will be on tv. >> now your forecast. decpwhret let's take a look at a wider view of the radar right now. that storm that was in the midwest broke into two parts which one headed for the great lakes. another section dwops to the south along with a big front that tails ahead of it. we have a lot of rain in the southern u.s. and with a low developing a combination of rain or snow. we were involved in that rain this morning but they are getting additional snow in new england from that storm. there is more waiting in the wings. but what happened today? yesterday erp stuck around freezing all day long. today erp at 45 for the high. the low was 32 degrees and we're still in the 40's right now. how much rain fell today? >> .12 of an inch and .t 9

hopkins no issue against michigan 17-8. when last we saw the maryland men's basketball team. terms were flushing away goodwill from duke. today though back on track hosting clemson and honoring their past, charles urging brought back into the fold talked for an hour on friday. best game in a long time. steeling the slam, three steels in the game. jake following suit then to the rack. so smooth. got a bright future. maryland up at the break. alex to nick. then the former baltimore city college store, 7 from the field, 18 points. maryland now 7 and 7. 72-59 over clemson. >> we won this game today because we had depositth.

we wore them out. so it's nice to have depth and you want all of your guys playing with confidence. >> tigers hosting today looking for t its first swinning season since 195eu9. for the slam thrrks trying to avoid the season sweem. little tap back in. dragons down one then allen, his only make of the day. this game was tight throughout. 3 of his 19, double, double this evening. tigers won it 72-71. they only won a sippingle game of last year. it gips for the birds the first of 35 spring training games in the books.
